Explore Every Branch of Science

Why choose just one field of science when you can try them all? Students investigate chemistry, physics, engineering, earth science, and biology through a series of exciting hands-on experiments and challenges that make science feel like an adventure.

Build, Test, and Discover

Science isn't about memorizing facts—it's about asking questions and finding answers. Students create lava lamps, launch engineering challenges, investigate water quality, build mousetrap cars, explore microscopes, and discover what happens when curiosity meets experimentation.

Create a Scientist's Notebook

Throughout the course, students sketch observations, record data, make predictions, and reflect on discoveries in their own science notebook. By the end of the course, they'll have a collection of experiments, investigations, and ideas that document their journey as a scientist.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • What materials do I need?

You'll need a science notebook and a variety of common household materials for experiments. Most activities use inexpensive supplies you probably already have at home, along with access to a microscope if available.

  • Is this course really self-paced?

Yes. There are no live sessions, no deadlines, and no scheduled class times. Your student works through lessons whenever it fits your schedule.

  • How does the mastery-based feedback work?

When your student submits an assignment, our instructors review it and either approve it or send specific feedback for revision. Students revise and resubmit until the work meets the standard. No moving on until it's solid.

  • How long does the course take to complete?

Most students finish in 3–4 months, but there's no time limit. Some families move faster, some slower - the course works either way.

  • What do students get when they finish?

A certificate of completion. The course is transcript-eligible through Wild Oasis Learning, or students can self-report the credit to their own school or program.
